Breaking the bonds of modern medicine

Felipe Reitz, managing director of the Integrated Medical Centre is working hard to bridge the gap between conventional and alternative medical practice.

The Irish Centre of Integrated Medicine, on first appearance is exactly what I expected.  Cool quiet white rooms, a well-stocked exotic fish tank humming in the background; rich dark wooden fixtures complement the crisp design of the centre.

The waiting room is comfortable but empty, a far cry from the local GP’s office.  I half expected one of Ireland’s starlets to peek around the corner betrayed by the soft swish of a heavy snow-white dressing gown.
