You should have your blood sugar monitored regularly to ensure you are not developing diabetes. If you
are already a diabetic, you should be testing your blood sugar levels before every meal, and at bedtime.

What are the costs and protocols?
Blood Glucose tests are free if
you are an existing ICIM otherwise it costs €10.
When you are comfortably seated in the nurses’ room, you will be asked to wash
your hands thoroughly. A small needle will prick your finger to draw a small drop of blood. This drop of blood is then collected onto
a special blood glucometer. Your result will be ready in 30 seconds. This procedure is quick and easy. There are no side-effects.

Your Results are your own. You may wish to
